This work is a life-time cast and was cast by the Alexis Rudier Foundry between 1902 and 1905. This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue critique de l'œuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin currently being prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme LeBlay under the archive number 1999V291B
