Fanny Fynebuik moved to Canada in 1957, where she settled in Alberta. She is the recipient of several awards for her participation, commitment and excellence achieved through the many oil and watercolour workshops and seminars she has attended. Fanny Fynebuik has an established studio, but the majority of her work is done on location, primarily in Alberta and on the west coast. In an age of mass-media imagery that means to frighten and persuade, Fanny’s oils and watercolours temper the soul. Her paintings express the tranquillity of nature without cynicism or apology.
