Eysseric was a well known French painter and explorer. He was born in France in 1860. In his life he left a lot of oil paintings and sketching as well as a lot of manuscripts. From 1893 to 1894, he traveled in India, Indochina, China and Japan. In 1994 and 1920, he exhibited part of his paintings in Paris. In 1970, an exhibition was held in France to commemorate this respected scholar, talented painter and courageous traveler.
