http://juliavandepolder.com/ Julia Vandepolder earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Guelph (2009). She has exhibited at public and private galleries across Canada, most recently at Studio 21 Fine Art in Halifax, Nova Scotia(2014). Solo exhibitions include: Afterglow at The Telephone Booth Gallery, Toronto (2013), Viewpoints at The Al Green Gallery, Toronto (2013) and At the Edge of a Shadow at The Brant Museum and Archives (2013). She is the recipient of numerous awards including Best in Show (2015) in the Vaughan City Hall Exhibition, Elora Arts Council Award (2014), Ellen Langlands Memorial Award (2013), the First Prize Award in a group exhibition at the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery (2013) and an Emerging Artist grant from the Ontario Arts Council (2011). Her paintings are in national private and corporate collections, including BMO Financial Group and Colart, Montreal. Vandepolder currently works in the Greater Toronto Area.
