Artist in the vanguard, Zubizarreta is of simple upbringing but often creates pieces of grandeur. He is an artist of extremes; friend of both poets and peasants, who has worked with intelligence to renew the concept of mural art, as well as the concept of art workshops for villages in rural areas in Mexico.
