Condition:

The sheet taped to the window mount along sheet edges verso (sheet edges unexamined). A slight ripple to the sheet and uneven sheet edges in keeping with the Artist's materials. The work appears to be in very good overall condition. Some craquelure to the thicker pigment in places, including to the red streaks in the sky, with a few flecks of loss. One or two further spots of loss in places, including to the upper centre of the pale blue in the lower half. Some light surface dirt, a few spots of staining and specks of matter in places.
