SIGN UP or LOG IN
Condition:
framed: 46 by 38½ in.; 116.8 by 97.8 cm. The picture is executed on a panel which is flat, stable, and cradled on the reverse. The panel is comprised of two boards brought together by a single off center vertical join. Overall the picture presents very well and could be hung in its current condition. UV reveals a slightly dirty varnish with isolated retouches, mostly applied along the join as well as in the forehead of the Virgin. A couple of other isolated areas of retouching are found just outside the left hand of the child, and in the lower right corner. Otherwise no major retouches are visible, and the picture is in very good condition. In a carved giltwood frame.
