Condition:

Framed: cm 61,1x121,5x2,5; inches 24.06 by 47.83 by 0.98 In general, the work is in good condition. The work has been relined by the artist, as per the artist's inscription on the reverse. There are threadlike and stable signs of craquelure spread over the surface of the work, particularly along the lower margin and in the more tactile areas of the composition. There is a pinpointed colour loss visible upon close inspection to the lower part of the right-hand margin, in the black pigment. Inspection under UV lamp reveals two small signs of retouching along the upper margin, one to the left and one at the centre of the upper margin. (In generale, l'opera è in buone condizioni conservative. L'opera è stata rifoderata dall'artista, come da iscrizione dell'artista sul retro. Vi sono filiformi e stabili segni di craquelure diffusi sulla superficie dell'opera, in particolare lungo il margine inferiore e nelle parti più materiche della composizione. Vi è una puntiforme caduta di colore visibile ad ispezione ravvicinata in corrispondenza della parte inferiore del margine destro, nel pigmento nero. Sotto la lampada a raggi UV sono visibili due piccoli segni di ritocco lungo il margine superiore, uno a sinistra e uno al centro del margine superiore.)
