Markings:

On wove paper, the sheet hinged to the mount at intervals along sheet edges verso. The work appears to be in very good overall condition. A possible small repair to the centre of the upper edge with some very pale associated discoloration. Some further pale paper discoloration and a few pale stains towards edges, thought to be in keeping with previous hinging. A few tiny fox marks. Some light surface dirt, pale spots of staining and specks of matter in places. A few creases to the sheet, mostly to sheet edges and corners, some associated spots of skinning and nicks, mostly to the lower and upper left sheet edge. Some pale scuff marks, thought to be in keeping with the Artist's working methods and materials. The work is float mounted and presented in a simple wooden frame, held under glass.
