Condition:

This early print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good condition. The photograph is trimmed to the image. There is edge-wear, including creases at the lower corners that appear to break the emulsion. There is a tack hole in the upper center. The reverse is soiled, particularly along the edges. There are adhesive remnants in the upper corners. The following are written in unidentified hands in pencil and ink: '100.235.3'; '2.3 [circled]'; 'Roof of Newell Art Galleries, Second Avenue in the forties block'; 'DB [circled]'; 'SG 49 (2/2)'; 'New York City Roof'; 'Louis Faurer'; '200 W. 58th St. / N.
