unframed: 54.7 x 67.8 cm.; 21½ x 26¾ in. The canvas is lined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals very little retouching, the most notable areas of which are fine, sensitively-executed lines scattered in the sky.
