Condition:

The canvas and stretcher are in good condition. There is rubbing to the corners and edges in places, only visible on close inspection. There is hairline cracking to the extreme edges and scattered faint cracking to the impasto in places, visible on close inspection. There are occasional scattered surface scratches, most noticeably to the lower horizontal edge, only visible on close inspection. There is minor lifting in places within the lower right quadrant, only visible on close inspection. All other imperfections are deemed inherent to the artist's technique and intent. This work has been examined under ultraviolet light and no restorations appear. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work.
