Born in Milan, Vincenzo Laera studied art and photography before moving to New York City in his early twenties, where he collaborated with such photographers as Helmut Newton, Albert Watson, Irving Penn, Deborah Tuberville, Bert Stern, Greg Gorman and Annie Leibovitz. His sense of composition and light gives his work a certain elegance that shows the influence of the photographers he worked with. "A Quantum State" series was taken in the iconic building Mühlenstr. 60, Berlin while the top floor was still unfinished, giving many images a raw and immediate feeling. – In excellent condition.
