unlined canvas; there appears to be minor craquelure thoughout with faint stretcher creases; canvas is slightly bowing at center; a few flakes of loss at upper left edge and another tiny flake at right top edge; under uv exam, there appears to be an approx. 4.5 x 1.5 inch passage of inpainting along top right edge; two smaller possible spots of inpainting beneath signature; otherwise, a discolored varnish layer makes this painting difficult to read
