Condition:

The paint surface has darkened somewhat and shows little stains and signs of rubbing. The canvas is thinned out in part. In addition, there are small dents and several scratches to the lower part of the painting. There is a small loss in the canvas to the right margin. There is a broad scratch mark with abrasion of the paint upper left (11 cm). The inspection under UV light does not reveal any recents touch-ups; however, the thick varnish most likely hides old strokes of retouching. The frame is slightly chipped and shows remnants of gilding
